How does Santa get around for the rest of the year?
quality used cars for sale in Coleford, royal forest of dean, Gloucestershire since 1992
We know on Christmas Eve that it's by reindeer-enhanced sled. However, for the rest of the year, Christmas morning onwards, there are restrictions on both the assistants he uses and vehicles he moves around in.
It's all about animal welfare and (are you ready for this) elf and safety regulations. Now, a few years ago, Pete Smith did ask the man himself about his favoured choice of civilian transport. With a deep-throated triple ho (Santa not Pete) the reply was: “Anything that's red and racy!”
Well, we hope he takes the time, when delivering those gifts, to cast a glance at our superb collection of suitably-hued used cars and nearly new vehicles for sale here, deep in the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. His eyes would surely light up at the stunning single-owner BMW X1 XDrive18D SE. Now we know the colour is officially called Valencia Orange but they do like blood oranges in that part of Spain, as you'll be able to see for yourself.
Or you might prefer crossing the countryside in a terrific Land Rover Freelander SD4 Sport LE in a deeply warming Firenze Red. Third in our festive bag of flame-coloured goodies is a Mercedes SLK200 Kompressor with just 30,000 miles on the clock (that takes Santa about twenty seconds on Christmas Eve) in a burningly-hot fire opal colouring and black leather upholstery. You can almost feel yourself shivering, and with anticipation, rather than the weather!
We could also carry on in detail about a sport red with black roof Citroen DS2 E-HDI Airdream DSport Plus, Coidda red Skoda Yeti S TDI CR, a supreme chilli red Mini Hatch Cooper with stunning front and back white striping, a Honda Civic in Milano red, or Tango red Ford Mondeo TDCI Zetec. Of course, we offer many more stunning second-hand, used and nearly new vehicles in a wide range of other colours too!
Incidentally, if you're popping down to Chepstow to enjoy the terrific Welsh Grand National Day on the Saturday after Christmas, why not call in and see for yourself? We'll offer a warm welcome - but, wisely, no racing tips!
